Interlocal Communication Council Meets

A meeting of the Interlocal #637 Communication Council was held on February 16, 2012, at the Interlocal Office. Chairperson Sheena Parks presided with members Tony Shearburn, Melinda Adair, Lorna Belew, Mary Geier, Rhonda Bradshaw, Brenda Marshall, Nicky Hastings, Darrick Perry, Vicki Miller, Linda Knoll, Daria Condon, Greg Kubler, Larry Coltrane, and Dan Duling present.
Discussion of postings of Interlocal job openings was held. The Negotiated Agreement between the Interlocal and SKIEA prescribes how that process is to be handled.
Life and Career Skills programming in Girard and grade level eligibility for those services was discussed.
Information related to services for elementary students with Intellectual Disabilities was discussed. Followup will be provided regarding the possibilities of implementing community based activities.
The next Communication Council meeting will be April 19. Items for discussion should be submitted to Chairperson Parks sparks@girard248.org by April 9.
