PDC Holds January meeting

A meeting of the Interlocal #637 Professional Development Council (PDC) was held on Jan. 14, 2010, at the Interlocal Office. Members present were chairperson Rhonda Bradshaw, Brenda Marshall, Mary Ann Henry, Vicki Miller, Kelli Hendrickson, Sheena Parks, and Jennifer Vaughn. Also present were administrators Larry Coltrane and Dan Duling, secretary Debbie Skahan, and practicum student Danielle Wagner.
Announcements of current inservice plans were made. They include a behavior workshop to be presented by school psychologists Darrick Perry and Greg Kubler on January 28 for the elementary teachers and on February 9 for the middle school and high school teachers. A discussion of future needs was also held.
A variety of inservice activity requests for events costing $150 or more were presented and discussed by the group. Recommendation were made to administrators for their consideration in making a final decision regarding the requests.
Requests for inservice points were reviewed and either approved or returned.
The next PDC Meeting will be February 18 at the Interlocal Office.
